We pulled this article because it highlights the liquidation of Store Twenty One, a UK-based retailer winding down 122 stores and laying off 900 people. Clearly the US doesn't have a monopoly on distressed retail. Also, the note at the bottom of the link is interesting: the Guardian notes that "more people are reading," and "advertising revenues across the media are falling fast" while asking for a contribution. Yeah, on a selfish level, that gives us some ideas. On a more serious macro level, that is a sad social commentary.
